Well, what did you expect? It's still Winter here. So here are a very few pictures to show you what it looks like out the back window!
The only live creature I saw out back was on the North Wall right at the West corner - a Gall Wasp!
Picture 2 shows it walking as fast as it could in the cold!
The easiest pictures were had out the east-facing windows. Here is the pond with some interesting variations. Thank goodness the little heater is still working. Look at all the different kinds of ice - the result of defrosting and then re-freezing several times. I don't know why, but I found it fascinating to watch the play of the wind over the water in the un-frozen circle.

Yesterday at 8 am., just about time for the sun to come up, I happened to look out the window and was royally rewarded with this view - I had to run bump down the stairs to grab the camera and bump back up to the bathroom window, which I could open and shoot from there.
View 2 was of the pond with a mild pinkish glow. A little leafless bush in the right front also glowed pinkish. The circular-elliptical object is a gremlin from the lens, I suspect.
And that's about that for now. See you again in a week or two or three.
Love, Martha
